Idikacho Women in Governance, a grassroots organisation is mobilising women in south eastern Nigeria to be better engaged in order to influence change for their communities. For many women in the south east, especially in rural areas, the idea of being able to influence government is new.

STRENGTHENING WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE - ACCESSING AGRICULTURAL FINANCE

PERL in collaboration with All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) and financial institutions, sensitized women farmers and agricultural processors on available financial facilities to improve their agribusiness. AFAN mobilized over 120 women farmers and processors to participate in the session which was held in Kano.
