The Kaduna State Education Sector is an integral part of the many ongoing reforms in the state. The need for stronger institutions has led to the partnership between DFID - PERL, the Teacher Development Programme, the Ministry of Education and Universal Basic Education (SUBEEB) to review the educational framework of the state.

The Honourbale Commissioner for Education, the Universal Basic Education (SUBEEB) Executive Chairman, Chairman House Committee on Education and other stakeholders were part of the 5-day Corporate Planning session which held from the 5^th – 9^th of November, 2018. The session was part of the processes supporting the reforms in Kaduna State’s Educational Institutions.

The session aimed to ensure that the Education Sector fulfills its mandate through the alignment of their vision, mission, strategic objectives, structures, functions, processes and workforce.  This will build on the sector’s strengths and opportunities while managing their weaknesses and threats, with the hope that it will translate to improvements in educational outcomes.
