The Kaduna State Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) conducted a two-day learning visit to the Lagos State Economic Intelligence Unit in the Lagos State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget, Alausa, Lagos on 14th and 15th January, 2019.

The learning visit provided a platform for both states to learn from the opportunities, challenges, achievements and lessons from operating an EIU in Nigeria.

EIU is an institution of the government that conducts researches and analysis on public policies and economic indicators with a view to providing forecast and advisory services to inform government decisions.

PERL subsequently supported the development of the Kaduna EIU strategic framework and implementation plan on 16th and 17th January, 2018 to strengthen the effectiveness of the EIU.
